Illustrated description of experimental Spitfire fuselage constructed in plastic by Aero Research, Ltd; apart from main-spar members and certain pick-up fittings, fuselage was built throughout of plastic materials and almost entirely of Gordon Aerolite; made of untwisted fibers of flax impregnated with phenolic resin and made into bands 6 in. in width.
