Vessels capable of service in both coastal trades and inland waterways recently constructed; two Rhine cargo motor ships, for general coastal service, have length oa 241 ft, beam 34 ft and depth 14 ft; holds provided with large hatchways permitting long packages to be carried; forward hold is 55 ft 1 1/2 in. long, after hold 64 ft and each hatchway 34 ft 9 in. long; propelled by Diesel engines.
