Method of aerodynamic influence coefficients has proved to be effective tool for analysis and design of wings, bodies, and wing-body combinations at supersonic speeds; extension of method into subsonic flow regime correlating theory with experiment over wide speed range is described; method may be applied to calculation of pressures and forces acting on arbitrary wing-body combinations in steady flight, including aeroelastic effects, and to design of wing camber surfaces in presence of body.
