Basic principles regarding carriage of liquefied gases, and regulations, refer to those with critical temperature below normal (methane, oxygen), and gases liquefiable under pressure at normal temperature (butane, ammonia, etc); multilobed reservoirs are composed of cylinders or horizontal cones, intersected, with spherical or elliptical ends; cylinders are connected by plane horizontal partitions, excluding all transverse partitions; structural problems and location, reinforcing webs, pumping are considered.
