Feasibility study made by Litton Systems of advanced Flight Data System for Flight Control Laboratory of Aeronautical Systems Div of U S Air Force; system is light weight, integrated, control and display system using inertially and aerodynamically derived data and is applicable to wide range of manned and unmanned vehicles that are required to operate inside and beyond fringes of earth's atmosphere under severe environmental conditions; preliminary design requirements leading to system mechanization are described.
