British Blue Streak, originally conceived as single-stage ballistic missile and used as first stage of satellite launcher is in many respects similar to Atlas ICBM; it uses thin-gage stainless structure and 2 lox-kerosene engines of 150,000-lb thrust each; details of structure and propulsion system and major subsystems.
