Mechanical equipment package has been introduced with which native soils and materials are being stabilized in place with commercial salt to create dust-resistant, high-strength bases; bases can be surfaced with double penetration asphalt to create truly high type roads, particularly for access-road traffic; examples of use in Colorado and Arizona.
