Nature and origins of traffic difficulties peculiar to industrial area are discussed and proposals for dealing with these problems derived; types and operations of load-carrying vehicles are set out and their needs and limitations are considered; several specific terminal requirements are suggested and their design for traffic and relation to town plan are investigated.
