Motion picture photography is being used by California Div Highways to provide data for improving design of median barriers in center strip of certain freeways where many head-on collisions had occurred; diagram shows how cameras equipped with timing lights are positioned along test strip to photograph impact of test car; camera is also used within vehicle to record view during and after impact and effect on anthropometric dummy.
