Survey of head injuries to occupants of cars and commercial vehicles, undertaken by Road Research Laboratory, England; accidents, all of which occurred within radius of 12 mi from Slough, were investigated on spot by laboratory's accident team; of 500 accidents investigated, 459 involved vehicles with 4 or more wheels, remaining 41 accidents, motorcycles or pedalcycles; of 259 head injuries reported, it was possible in 95 cases to correlate injuries with particular internal feature of vehicle.
