First coastwise type of tanker designed for river service; vessel, of all welded construction, built at Decatur shipyard of Ingalls Shipbuilding Corp, has length 235 ft, breadth 35 ft, molded depth 14 ft, and has capacity for 13,500 bbl of oil; propelled by two National Superior 8-cyl, 9-in. by 12-in.
