Self-sealing-coupling, now being tested by Army Air Corps, makes possible faster exchange of airplane power units; couplings are installed in firewall, and permit disconnection of all liquid-carrying pipe lines, without either loss of fluid or inclusion of air into system; design and method of operation illustrated.
