Problems of severe corrosion of harbor vessels which necessitate special cathodic protection installations are discussed together with steps taken to control corrosion, and effectiveness of cathodic protection systems fitted; cast iron propellers, propeller nozzles, buoys, and mooring chains, and bronze propellers on wood craft are dealt with.
