Theoretical investigation of damping of precession of asymmetric spinning body by use of pendulum damper shows that pendulum, located arbitrarily in satellite, with its pivot comprised of viscoelastic material, can reduce even small wobble angles of spinning body; satellite has three distinct moments of inertia and pendulum is free to rotate about two axes; equations of motion of coupled bodies were derived and expression obtained for wobble angle decay as function of system parameters; numerical example.
