Fiona, built by Caledon Shipbuilding and Engineering Co of Dundee, for carriage of sugar and molasses in bulk; length 285 ft; breadth 44 ft; deadweight carrying capacity 3500 tons; shelter-deck cargo type with machinery fitted aft, molasses being carried in topside wing tanks and transverse tanks under main deck; propelled by single set of triple-expansion engines with two single-ended cylindrical multi-tubular boilers.
