Haulage of 70,000 gal of water at railroad for supply of town of Grand Canyon, Ariz, has been eliminated by installation of pumping station with supervisory control at Indian Garden Springs, 3000 ft below rim of canyon; versatility of visicode system of control is displayed in its application to control of station by operator on rim.
