Laboratory test is devised to approximate payload vibration response characteristics of Nike Tomahawk system; test is based upon flight test data and apparent weight (WA) characteristics of rocket motors and payload; intermediate tests gave data on payload's vibration response to motor burning irregularities; test procedure included also static firing, force controlled vibration testing and electric simulation of WA during force controlled test; test results and practical limitations of test procedure are considered.
