Theory is developed and compared with results of bench test; velocity distribution along ground and across jet exit, location of free stream tube boundary, and thrust ratios at constant power and constant total head are presented as functions of height of jet exit above ground and of angle of tilt; agreement between theory and experiment is satisfactory, except at very low height/diameter ratios; paper represents further development of results given in AIAA Paper 64-424, 1964.
