Abstract of a paper read before the Northeast Coast Inst. of Engineers and Shipbuilders. Steam pressure of 250 to 280 lbs. being deemed probable in the near future, the author proceeds to discuss the points in boiler construction requiring attention, besides mere ability to withstand these pressures when adopted.
