Multiple dynamometer capable of testing complete four-wheel braking systems similar to actual vehicle operation by use of magnetic tape programming techniques; tests up to 6 hr in length accommodated on single reel of tape; use of programming permits high degree of test flexibility coupled with excellent repeatability; advantages include capability of performing these tests on unattended basis, instrumentation system furnishes precise measurements of braking parameters, thereby providing accurate test data for design engineering.
