Operational objectives are set forth, such as minimum walking distances, minimum confusion in finding one's way, minimum check-in time and baggage claim time; terminal building has cantilevered roof with underside covered with black foam-glass block, perforated with 1/8 in. holes on 3/8 in. centers, placed in wood forms as liner, onto which concrete roof slab was poured which was found to be unsuccessful as paint film flaked off from blocks; aircraft have "nose-in" parking which saves 60 ft of apron space; baggage delivery uses moving, closed-loop belt; no significant changes are required for future supersonic transport aircraft.
