Survival probabilities or man-rated booster vehicles are expressed in equation form, and data on crew capsule losses is provided for Advanced Titan and Saturn vehicles; possible parking and transfer orbits; manned lunar landing and/or circumlunar mission requires boosting large payloads into space which may be accomplished by lifting single large payload, or multiple launching of small payloads and subsequent assembling in orbit, via rendezvous, of more sophisticated vehicle for lunar exploration.
