Current conventional platform systems are not adequate for space travel and additional startrackers are required to improve directional accuracies for referencing vehicle attitude; Astro Electronic Gimballess Inertial System (AEGIS) consisting of 3 gyros and digital differential analyzer is considered as possible solution; system is capable of handling midcourse navigational problem within errors specified.
