Post Office has built standard unit automatic exchange for 100 lines in vehicle which can be towed to rural sites for temporary service; experimental mobile exchange is self-contained; construction of trailer, transport and telephone facilities, alternative arrangements for charging batteries from gasoline engine charging set or from public a-c supply, described.
