25 express cars built by Bethlehem Steel Co, Wilmington, Del; Mayari-R steel used in construction; length over end posts 74 ft 9 in.; width over side sills 9 ft 9 3/8 in.; height from top to rail 14 ft; capacity 66,000 lb; average weight 114,900 lb; trucks are of double equalizer, 4-wheel type with 8-ft wheelbase and 6-in. by 11-in. journals; equipped with Barco metallic steam heat connections; three cars built with automobile doors at one end.
