Trend in design during 1930 is predicted; 4-cylinder engined car will not be made by more than one or two firms in United States and six will be used with few exceptions and in cheaper car only; two front-wheel-drive cars both employing 8-cylinder in-line engine are most radical developments; advantages of front-wheel drive; there will be demand that automobiles be made in greatly reduced overall length, reacting against long straight-line engine.
