Factors in marine bulk transport of liquefied gases and methods of cargo handling are discussed; consideration is given to valves for pressure relief of cargo tanks, measurement of liquid level, cargo temperature measurement, and electrical instrumentation in general to illustrate type of equipment available for gas ships and to explain some special problems in their design and manufacture.
