Terminal phase of rendezvous maneuver prior to docking is investigated; paper obtains approximate solution of equations of relative motion, including linear and quadratic terms in relative distance, for nearly circular orbits; motion of target vehicle is approximated by means of power series in eccentricity of its orbit; new solution is obtained in terms of independent variable, time, by method of differential corrections accounting for terms of second order in relative distance and first order in target orbital eccentricity; numerical examples are presented.
