Guidance method is described for space vehicles that use atmospheric forces to permit maneuvers during ascent to orbit, ascend directly to orbital rendezvous, and perform hypersonic, in-atmosphere cruise before light-off of rocket-powered ascent to orbit; method can accept moving-rocket ignition point because place and time of rendezvous are not specified in advance but depend upon geocentric lead angle between vehicle and target at ignition.
