Reference is made to second-order solution of planetary entry mechanics, developed by author, (see Engineering Index 1962 p 1195); although solution is valid for entire region, and can be reduced analytically or numerically to all first-order solutions enumerated, it is limited to nonoscillatory-type entry trajectory applications; up to present time, all oscillatory-type trajectories can only be calculated by computers; paper extends second-order analytical solution to be applicable to circular and supercircular oscillatory-type entry trajectories offering analytical solution for oscillatory entry trajectories.
