Any good set of explicit guidance equations for large multistage space launching vehicles is capable of accurately achieving simultaneously several components of desired position and velocity at thrust termination; equations described offer possibility of changing targets on launch pad, or in flight; fundamental principles upon which these guidance equations are based together with their computer simulation as now in operation at Aerospace Corp; illustrative examples of simulated trajectories are also presented.
