Procedure for calculating attitude disturbances imparted to spacecraft by impacts of meteoroids is presented; it is shown that anisotropy of incident flux of meteoroids on space vehicle, coupled with inherent asymmetry of typical vehicles, leads to steady-state disturbance in addition to possibility of disturbance torques due to single impacts of relatively rare, large particles; multiplication of momentum effect takes place during hypervelocity impact of meteoroid which can increase attitude perturbation effect of meteoroids by order of magnitude; it is possible to accommodate most pessimistic situation without excessive weight penalties.
