Series of tests of human tolerance of LF and infrasonic noise conducted at Aerospace Medical Research Laboratories has extended range of human exposure to infrasound, and proven that short-duration exposure to LF noise up to 150 db is within human tolerance range; first test was simulation of noise environment estimated for crew compartment of Saturn-boosted vehicle; description of other tests and some of results obtained.
