Review of work of British Sky-Diving Club, sport parachuting organization based at Thruxton airfield in Hampshire, which trains students from first basic steps in free fall parachuting to most advanced techniques; specialized parachutes, different from those for combat and life-saving by military, are used which have slower descent rate, can be steered, possess inherent forward speed and are easily packed; basic training; instructor's viewpoint and pilot's viewpoint are presented.
