Racing seaplane built by Wright Aeronautical Corp. has wing spread of 28 ft., height of 11 ft. 7 1/4 in., and length of 28 ft. 4 1/4 in.; on trial trip it averaged more than 180 mi. per hr. over 2 1/2-mi. course; equipped with high-compression 700-hp. 12-cycle V-type water-cooled engine.
