CTC has shown itself to be dependable source of additional traffic capacity and earning ability; CTC with cab signals extends system all the way from operator at control office to engineman riding in cab; it is believed that new uses will be developed and that system will be modified to suit new uses; development work is being carried out on faster communication systems in anticipation of some of new uses that are expected.
