Referring to paper indexed in Engineering Index 1949 p 993, from Apr 30 1949 issue, in which transition curve was developed as cubic parabola, method is here shown by which coordinates of intersection of base circle and cubic parabola, tangent line and curvature can be determined; tabulated data can be applied both to curves of railroad tracks and roads.
