With realization of oil producing possibilities of Saudi Arabia, development of suitable motor vehicles to carry heavy loads over desert sands was undertaken; operation in sand require tire which would remain on surface of sand and disturb it little when passing over it; features of special sand tire developed; trucks, trailers and other equipment developed; engine cooling aids.
