Port Authority terminal has 3-acre parking area on roof; 2400 buses and 130,000 passengers are handled daily; 614,437 sq ft floor area required 9000 tons of structural steel; 2100 tons of reinforcing steel, 25,000 cu yd of concrete and 2,500,000 bricks were used; waiting room, offices and recreational areas are air conditioned.
