Using trawler model, several nozzle propeller arrangements were tested in still water both free running and when trawling; special attention was paid to turning ability and rudder head torques to be expected with steering nozzles; it is noted that results are of special interest for small trawlers, although tests were carried out with available model of fairly large trawler (length bp 42 m).
