Fastening for track-circuited long-welded rails developed by British Railways; assembly consists of insulating clamping block, malleable cast iron containing collar, and triple coil spring washer; these are secured against rail foot by holding-down bolt, tightened by flanged nut and restrained by locking pin; rail is seated on rubber pad 3/16 in. thick with retaining lug extensions.
