Water supply system found on Guadal-canal as prepared by Japanese is described; system includes pumping water from river into storage tanks on hill from whence gravity causes it to flow down to airport where it is used for construction and drinking purposes; drinking water is filtered by Shofu cylinder, description of which was previously indexed from issue of Mar 1943.
