New automatic hydraulic brake system developed for large trolleys running on double ropeway and supporting cabins with 40 to 70 passenger capacity; method for calculating braking parameters and oscillation damping characteristics, pertinent program for digital computer, and results of actual braking tests are presented; new system permits considerable increase in car acceleration and operating velocity.
