Photographic system is described which is capable of taking photographs of hypervelocity projectiles in free-flight range; system consists of Q-switched laser, simple lens camera, and related triggering circuitry; film size is 73×95 mm which permits image-object ratio of two; typical photographs of in-flight projectiles traveling between 6.4 and 7.1 km/sec are presented.
