Design features of traveling-wave tube developed for light weight missile guidance equipment in Delta space vehicle; tube in assembly is less than 8 in. long; provides gain at midband of 37 db and has 3 db bandwidth equal to more than 24% of midband frequency; full useful life is only few minutes during missile flight.
