Development and testing of 2 crankcase ventilator systems by Walker Mfg Co which attain goals of simplicity, low cost, no atmospheric escape of blowby, and virtual maintenance free life; tests and results are shown of component and system flow characteristics; system performance in areas of ventilation air-fuel ratio compensation, engine operation, flame stopping, and others are discussed; systems are compatible with new and used vehicles, they satisfy California requirements, and life and maintenance are indeterminate factors, both exceeding 12,000 mi.
