Paper derives generalized aerodynamic forces for aircraft on basis of slender body theory; configurations are considered which are spanwise flexible; slender wing-body problem is reduced to simple body and modified slender wing problem; integral solution of latter is obtained, using circle theorem and solution of airfoil equation for double interval; conformal mapping techniques are not necessary and solution obtained is valid for arbitrary spanwise downwash distributions; aerodynamic forces are derived for spanwise flexible wing-body configurations.
