Equations for force and moment coefficients of sharp edged 2-dimensional airfoil developed on basis of H.S.TSIEN'S hypersonic similarity law; coefficients calculated for flat plate and for three airfoils with thickness; optimum airfoil is wedge whose lower surface is flat, with maximum thickness at midchord; results are valid when product of Mach number and thickness ratio is of order of 1.
