Advantages of staging long range high speed transport aircraft; study indicates operational and economic advantages of operating staged aircraft at high supersonic speeds for mission ranges which are of commercial interest; mission investigated was that of transporting 60 passengers still-air range of 3500 n miles at cruise speed of Mach 4.
