Two most important features of new marine gear are its ability to give equal life at full speed and full power control driving either ahead or astern, and its highly compact design; gear is produced by Snow-Nabstedt Gear Corp, Hamden, Conn; first two models, numbers 3961 and 3971, have torque capacities of 1640 and 2400 ft-lb respectively.
